Functional strength is vital in our bodies health. It's often the case that imbalances, poor mobility and tight areas are due to a lack of strength. Our Personal Training service doesn't just lead you to the aesthetic results that personal training is often associated with, we have a passion for improving how your body moves and we aim to reconnect with how our bodies were made to move in the first place. Over the years exercise has become very one dimensional, many of us move in limited plains of motion both in and out of the gym. The typical workout consists of very similar movements and this has caused our bodies to very rarely move in the ways we are designed to move. We were designed to jump, twist, run, fight, bend and dance... however, for many of us, we only do these movements in small isolated pockets throughout the week.
Many of us spend a large amount of the day seated, over time this can encourage unhealthy movement and postural habits. We recognise this and ensure that intertwined within your training will be various movements and drills to help you avoid the common drawbacks associated with long periods of being seated.
